The men’s shirt: It’s a classic garment that’s long been a staple in women’s wardrobes. Even in its endless variations—slim, striped, made of slippery silk—it’s still familiar.
That wasn’t quite the case, however, with the shirts on the spring runways. Collars were tugged aside, exposing a single bare shoulder, cuffs were uneven and extra-long. There was mis-buttoning as well as mismatching of various kinds of banker-ish stripes.
