Nandini D’Souza Wolfe has been writing about fashion, culture, music, food and travel for 20 years. A New York Times best-selling author, she is inspired by the personalities, rituals and idiosyncratic, often-overlooked details of the industry. Her work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Women’s Wear Daily, InStyle, Style.com, Bergdorf Goodman magazine and more.
In her work as a fashion brand consultant, she is constantly excited by young brands with good ideas, and works to help them find their identity and develop a distinct voice and content pov.
Since 2009, Nan has been writing Harper’s Bazaar‘s “The Best Runway Looks” column, covering the New York, London, Milan and Paris women’s fashion shows twice a year. She also wrote the magazine’s Fabulous at Every Age book (2009), and helped launch its semi-annual runway magazine Runway Report.
Nan edited and co-wrote Tory Burch’s New York Times best-selling book Tory Burch In Color (Abrams, 2014). While serving as the designer’s Editorial Director, she helped launch the brand’s content-only blog and app, a first in the industry. Prior to that, she was the Senior Fashion Features Editor at W Magazine and Women’s Wear Daily.
Nan lives in New York City with her husband and two small children.
